Schwarze A-series
regenerative air sweepers are designed to be used for a wide range of
municipal and construction sweeping applications. A-series are an
excellent alternative to mechanical broom sweepers for most road and
construction cleanup sweeping requirements. Schwarze A-series sweepers
are less expensive to operate and maintain than mechanical broom
machines. They are also much more environmentally-friendly because of
their regenerative air design. The A-series line is sold through
Schwarze's nationwide dealer
network.
Sweepers in the line include the 4.3 cubic
yard model A4000
road sweeper (shown in above photo), the massive 8.4 cubic yard model
A7000, and the 5.8 cubic yard
capacity variable high dumping model A8000.
All Schwarze S-series sweepers have Schwarze's unique Sweeps-in-Reversesm
capability. This is an important environmental and overall safety
feature.
The A7000 and A8000 both may also be fitted

When it comes to environmentally sound sweeping, Schwarze EV-series
sweepers set the standard for performance. The Schwarze EV-series
machines are the world's first ever devices that can clean both the
pavement surface and the ambient air around its area of operation to
an astonishing 2.5 microns. Unlike ordinary sweepers, the EV machines
can pick up and securely contain even normally difficult substances
such as lead, zinc, aluminum, gypsum and coal dust, as well as typical
street dirt. While the EV-series machines are at work cleaning the
pavement, they also scrub up to 900,000 cubic feet of air per hour
down to the same 2.5 micron level. Importantly, due to Schwarze's
multi-patented, self-cleaning filtration system, no water ever needs
to be used in the process.
Ideal for environmental compliance, the EV pavement cleaners can be
a Best Available Technology (BAT) and Best Management Practice (BMP)
for compliance with EPA-mandated stormwater management plans. Schwarze
EV-series cleaners come in two models. The larger EV1
has a 6.5 cubic yard capacity hopper, a positively filtered cab for
operator safety, and is designed for outdoor municipal and industrial
cleaning needs, including the pick up of toxic and hazardous material.
The smaller 4.25 cubic yard capacity EV2
is only 6 feet tall, and is capable of performing thorough
cleaning both indoors and out. Both are outfitted with Schwarze's
breakthrough Enviro-Whirl 2.5 micron pickup system, and are America's
leading sweepers for situations where small micron pickup is an
important factor. EV-series' machines are especially applicable to
factory and industrial situations. The EV-series line is sold through
Schwarze's nationwide dealer
network.
Because the EVs use no water and offer secure containment, they can
be ideal for handling hazardous or toxic material cleanup. The
machines will pick up and allow recycling or proper disposal of a wide
variety of material, including lead, copper, coal dust, gypsum, raw
material powders and many more. When outfitted with an optional
'sock-and-auger' secure offloading system, the EV-series machines not
only picks up 2.5 micron material and keeps it dry, it also keeps it
securely contained throughout the offloading process.

The Schwarze RoadHawk offers unique capabilities not found in any other highway
pickup machines. The RoadHawk can be operated to increase efficiency
and worker safety in a variety of situations. The RoadHawk uses a patented
pickup system that involves rotating rubber fingers to pick
up most all large roadway debris. It is ideal for increasing worker
safety during Adopt-A-Highway bag and traffic cone pickup. It also
works great in front of a standard highway sweeper, either mechanical
broom or air, to take care of objects
large enough to damage even the largest traditional street sweeper.
The 8 cubic yard hopper is
extremely versatile in its offloading options, from 9' 6" down to
manual side door offloading at roadway level. Power for highway speed
transport as well as pickup function is provided by a durable Cummins
